How Rawatib collects, protects, and uses company payroll information.

1. Who we are

Rawatib is a cloud payroll management platform for companies operating in Qatar. Rawatib helps authorized company users manage employee records, payroll source records, approvals, payslips, reports, and bank upload files.

Rawatib is owned and provided by Rawatib for Software and ECommerce (Rawatib), C.R Number 243952.

Rawatib is not a bank, payment gateway, money transfer provider, or payroll fund custodian. Salary payment and bank submission remain the responsibility of the company and its authorized users.

2. Information we collect

We collect information needed to create and operate a company payroll workspace.

  • Account information, such as name, work email, mobile number, role, authentication status, and login activity.
  • Company information, such as company name, trade license details, office number, contact email, organization structure, subscription plan, and bank configuration records.
  • Employee payroll information, such as employee ID, name, title, department, section, nationality, gender, QID, passport or visa number, salary components, allowances, deductions, bank details, leave, overtime, loans, end-of-service records, payslips, and payroll history.
  • Operational records, such as approvals, audit logs, notifications, reports, uploaded files, export metadata, and support or onboarding communications.
  • Technical information, such as device, browser, IP address, session identifiers, security logs, and error diagnostics.

3. How we use information

We use information only for legitimate product, security, support, and compliance purposes connected to payroll operations.

  • To create and manage company workspaces and user access.
  • To calculate, review, approve, and lock payroll runs.
  • To prepare payslips, reports, and manual bank upload files.
  • To maintain audit trails and investigate security or operational issues.
  • To provide customer support, onboarding, product updates, and service notices.
  • To improve reliability, performance, user experience, and fraud prevention.

4. Company responsibility

The company is responsible for the accuracy, legality, and authorization of data entered into Rawatib. This includes employee information, salary data, bank details, payroll decisions, approvals, and uploaded documents.

Companies must ensure they have the right to process employee personal data and payroll data through Rawatib and must provide any required notices to employees.

5. Data sharing

We do not sell company or employee data. We share data only where needed to provide the service, comply with law, protect the platform, or support the company.

  • With service providers that host, secure, monitor, or support Rawatib under appropriate confidentiality and security obligations.
  • With authorized company users according to their role and permissions.
  • With regulators, courts, or authorities when legally required.
  • With professional advisers if needed for security, legal, accounting, or business continuity purposes.

6. Security

Rawatib uses role-based access controls, company data isolation, authentication, audit logs, encrypted connections, and controlled administrative access to protect payroll data.

No system is perfectly secure. Companies must protect their own accounts, invite only authorized users, promptly deactivate users who no longer need access, and review sensitive changes before approval.

7. Data retention

Payroll and audit records may need to be retained for business, legal, tax, employment, and dispute-resolution purposes. Rawatib may retain company payroll records while the workspace is active and for a reasonable period after termination, unless deletion is legally required and technically feasible.

Backup copies may remain for a limited period before being overwritten according to backup cycles.

8. Employee rights and requests

Employees should first contact their employer for access, correction, or deletion requests related to payroll records. Rawatib acts mainly as a service provider to the company workspace and will direct employee requests to the relevant company unless law requires otherwise.

9. International processing

Rawatib may use cloud infrastructure and service providers that process data in different countries. We take reasonable steps to protect data during such processing through contractual, technical, and organizational controls.
